Thanks all for your comments.

@Pilot Frans, this is not Triple E, these are smaller ships of 14,000 TEU (or thereabouts).

@Rick, ah, the lengths (and heights) I'll go to take a picture of a ship... :)

Cheers

Vlad

Is this one of the 2nd generation Triple E?
I wondering as the first couple of the new series al starting with the letter M

Vlad, you have been found'guilty' of trespass - due to your explicit & detailed description, but with valid reason and necessity!

Only dedicated (obsessive) photographers take such risks to carry out an operation. Fortunately :-)

Even when you say that it is not true,I love the way you write this scenario. It made me laugh and I will certaimly buy a copy of your novel...

Thanks, Rick and Roy.

@Roy, I was not inside the yard. I was loitering near the entrance to a high-rise apartment building, waiting for somebody to enter or exit, then quickly ran to the doors before they closed (they do close their doors, you know), took the elevator to 25th floor, went yet another floor up on the roof (the door was unlocked), and voila...*

*the above description is a figment of my imagination, to be considered as research for my upcoming novel, so it's not true.

:)

Cheers

Vlad
