Thank you very much, Allan, for your below well & comprehensive explanation.

Btw, do you maybe know the name of the ship that can be seen through the far end window of the enclosed bridge wing?
Cheers

Hi Jadran,

The outer bridge is not perceived as claustrophobic in real, the lens's wide-angle "cheats" a bit on photo, so it looks more and more narrow the longer you reach the outer starboard side. And it does not bend. On the windowsill, you can see that it is part of the design to provide more workplaces all the way out at starboard side.

As for how comfortable is staying here on the open sea in hard weather? You usually only use these areas in connection with harbor maneuvers.

Cheers
Allan

A very nice & much interesting view of the navigation bridge Stbd enclosed bridge wing,, however,, this space appears to look rather "claustrophobic", and moreover, it must be quite uncomfortable during rolling of the ship... and why is that handrail already bent !!? (significantly bent on one place);

Thank you for sharing this photograph, Allan!
Kind regards /Jadran

... I've always much wondered how that *long* enclosed bridge wing looks from its inside, and now, thanks to this image, I can clearly see all that I was interested!
