Hi Clyde,, this is just my brief thought,, maybe you could have considered to buy your *new home* - an apartment in one of those two (2) white-facade sister buildings seen at the shoreline of this your photo,, the best would be one of the top floor apartments which are having a wonderful BALCONY >> what a *stunning great* shipspotting location that is!!! (though I can see, that at the time/hour of this your shot, the view from the balcony is straight into the sun, hm hmm).
Well,, you might possibly consider my opinion/recommendation the next time....

Bus Route 244 City to Chowder Bay. After passing Mosman, 15 minute walk from Suakin Road bus stop,.
By car. Military Road to Middle Head Road, turn right at Suakin Drive. At Gunshot Alley, right then left to parking spaces. Picnic areas. No toilets. 270 degree views from City to Heads to Manly

Thank you Jadran. I have sold the shipspotting location that has been my home. And bought another home which is the same distance as before from my other shipspotting locations, but without a view of the harbour. All for age related reasons!!!
