The ships were a licence-built version of the Polish B444 design. Brazilian-built sisters in the Alianca fleet were: FLAMENGO; MARINGA and OLINDA. All ten of the Polish built ships were for Brazilian owners of which Alianca took AMARALINA, BOTAFOGO and ARPOADOR.

Hello,
impressive vessels but a fairly short working life for a general cargo vessel. The others were Flamengo, Botafogo, Olinda and ??? Worked briefly during a shipyard stay at DW Reiherstieg on Copacabana. All mayor technical work usuallay was done in Hamburg.
She was, like many of the early seventy built general cargo vessels, overrun by the containerisation.
Thanks for posting Jürgen
