Yes B.Clark, I wish I had filmed her entrance, but it is either stills or film.It is not every time you see such a sight in harbour.
thanks and regards

Thanks Bret,it was breathtaking sight seeing her "sail" in.It was more grand seeing her entrance on TV with footage taken by a drone (Which can be seen high, just on her port side).
Thanks and regards

Though the RNOV SHAHAB OMAN II "sailed" in with full suit of sails in place, it was only by special dispensation by the authorities as it is as you said Jad: it is not allowed to enter harbour with sails set.
Mind you ,she was on engine power throughout, the sails were just "decorative".
It was something you wont see every day, quite a marvellous sight.
regards and thanks

What a rare opportunity & wonderful *grand* display of SAILS.... you can't see such a beautiful scene every day, in nowadays time of the ships' advanced technology...
Thank you for sharing and kind regards,
Jadran

PS: Are the tall ships "under full sails" (i.e. with sails up!)now allowed to enter directly into the Grand Harbour!?
