Description:

http://www.shipspotting.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=233242

Does someone know why did this happened? I know nothing about ship painting, but is a montha and a half enough time to paint a ship and for her to get all that rusty?

Hello Pedro!

I think you have spotted two different vessels.
The photo one month ago shows a vessel operated by German shipowner Oskar Wehr KG. You can see it on the blue hull painting and the yellow stripe. This is typical Wehr colour.
The other photo is not the same vessel. Looks like it is a vessel of German shipowner Ernst Russ.
Possible that the charter of Wehr ended and Russ got the new charter.

Regards,
Holger

Hello Holger,

Thank you for your post. Henk Linden has also told me that these are two diferent vessels...

According to his email, this is MOL SPRINGBOK, ex VULKAN, built 1996, while the other one, with the blue hull and yellow stripe is the MOL SPRINGBOK, ex WHER KOBLENTZ, built 1998.

Once again, thank you both. ;)

Cheers.

EDIT: I've updated the photo IMO nb...
