You have to work the control panel with bare fingers at all times when flying the drone. The buttons are small and sensitive. I didn't know about icing on the blades though; makes sense while flying in the cold air at the speed they revolve.

Marc: Fingers deepfrozen as fishfingers. As long as the battery is warmed up before flight, i think its ok. But watch out for icing on the blades, dangerous stuff. Have had it in the air in-15 and wind. Derek: THANKS!

No cold fingers? I don't fly mine during the winter. Would not risk losing it because of battery failure in cold temps. Would however like to try it just to obtain aerial shots with the ice around the ship...
