Thanks David for the info, so this at the moment seems to be a quasi impossible situation for now, So as I said I recommend that members insert any reliable info (preferably with photographic evidence like having the stern with the registry visible) when loading photos on the site. Every little bit helps.

Emmanuel, the data is generated by a script which automatically inserts information sourced from the Grosstonnage database on each individual page based on the IMO number. There is no accessible root file for the data, and fixing it otherwise would require the site's Webmaster to go in an individually alter a special page for photos that require amended data. An individual, unique page for each photo, can you imagine the storage space and Webmaster work hours required?!

Yes David, but can something be done, like amending these same frozen information? In these 2 years a lot has happened re registration of vessels, and it looks strange looking at a photo with a totally different info re registration, names etc.
I propose that when the name ,port of registration is known by the member providing the photo it is inserted in the "description"

Don't forget that the Vessel ID/Technical Data/Additional Data boxes have been frozen since grosstonnage.com closed down about two years ago, and that we have no ability to modify it. Neither have we found an alternative accessible source

The vessel identification above still lists her as Greek registered, but as can be discerned from the photo above she is registered in Valletta, Malta......???
