One of a mid-1960s-built series of larger, open-hatch colliers for shipping coal mainly from the North-East of England to three new power stations built in the Thames/Medway area.
4,995 grt; 7,665 dwt.
Operator: Stephenson Clarke Shipping Ltd, London.
Built: 1965 by Blyth Dry Docks and Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Cowpen Quay, Blyth, UK. Yard no. 387.
Machinery: nine-cylinder, two-stroke British Polar M69TS of 2,600 bhp. Speed: 12 knots.
1986-to breakers at Gadani Beach 22/9.
