Roro MERCANDIAN ATLANTIC II (IMO8417120), passing Eastbound between Martinique and Dominica Islands (West Indies), on February 24th 1989.
She sank the next year, on April 7th 1990, during a voyage from West Africa to Europe. The ship capsized in heavy weather and sank 200 NM WSW of Cape Saint-Vincent.
The crew (17) was rescued by the Norwegian car-carrier HUAL MARGARITA.
