Description:
Many thanks to my good friend Peter Fitzpatrick for motivating me to search this one only to find out she was identified wrong everywhere ! In our recent photographing trip this June in Piraeus we saw and photographed this one in a small bay at Drapetsona, north of the main Piraeus port. Peter noticed that the bottom of the hull had rivets while the upper part was welded which indicated a rebuilt from an older vessel. After a lot of research (and a visit to the Piraeus Registry by my good friend Aris Bilalis to search her reg. no for info) this is what was found :
Built 1913, rebuilt 1984, 43 gt. Call sign SZRZ (early), SV9405 (later). 18,95 m X 4,1 m. No IMO.
No info on her previous name and pre-greek career unfortunately.
