The 2013 Imabari (Japan) built bulk carrier PREDATOR is seen swinging in the River Mersey outbound from Liverpool to the Bar anchorage this afternoon with TEAL BULKER (IMO 9668908) in dock loading scrap metal. PREDATOR had originally arrived off Liverpool at the end of November but was behind the more recently anchored TEAL BULKER in the queue for the specialist berth to discharge her cargo of animal feedstuffs from the Black Sea. After around one week at anchor she diverted to Rotterdam to discharge part cargo, returning to her Liverpool anchorage shortly before Christmas to continue waiting for the berth. She was brought alongside S9 berth in Seaforth Dock for the duration of the Christmas holiday and was photographed sailing back to the anchorage to again wait for her discharge berth to become free.
