LOCATION
Photograph taken from Aikenhead Point. This location offers a good view of outbound vessels with anytime after midday being the best for lighting. In summer the lighting is superb for inbound ships such as the Spirit of Tasmania ferries. This location is also great for getting rough weather shots.

Accessibility: this location is wheelchair access friendly and has toilet facilities just off the carpark. Any incoming shots may require being on the rocks in front of the Neptune statue. Please take care as this location is exposed to the elements. The rocks are loose and in bad weather breaking waves create quite a bit of spay.
