Description:
The Hain-Nourse owned TREBARTHA, built by John Readhead at South Shields in 1962, was photographed passing Hoek van Holland outbound from Rotterdam late on 27th June 1970 during a voyage from Hamburg to Port Sudan via Rotterdam and Dunkirk while on charter to Hansa Linie.
Later:
1972: owners became Peninsular & Oriental S.N. Co.
1975: renamed STRATHTAY in the fleet of the new general cargo division
1978: Sold to Margaronis of Greece and renamed ZAK
June 1982: laid up in River Blackwater, Essex
September 1984: left lay up to load a cargo at Immingham for India
She arrived at Lianyungang, China, on 9th January 1985 for breaking
