Description:
Elder Dempster's 1964 Lithgows, Port Glasgow, built FREETOWN, which was transferred to Guinea Gulf Line in 1967, is seen passing Hoek van Holland, outbound from Rotterdam on 30th June 1970 during a voyage from Sapele to Hamburg.
In 1972 she was transferred to Ocean Group's NSMO (Nederlandsche Stoomvaart Mij "Oceaan" B.V.), reverting to Elder Dempster colours.
