Description:
The 1948 Austin & Pickersgill, Sunderland, built OLIVA, owned by clients of Hellas Shipping Co Ltd of London, is seen passing Hoek van Holland, outbound from Rotterdam, on 9th June 1970. She subsequently arrived at Newport on 27th June from Antwerp.

OLIVA suffered an engine room fire and explosion on 8.7.71 during a voyage from Szczecin to Leith with a cargo of sulphate, sinking off Jutland.
