There's a complete ship behind this stern (actually, only half of it at this stage), and it's all on flat land, or a "skid", followed by moving of the completed hull into a floating dock using a system of interconnected heavy lifting platforms, and then launching into the sea. This concept is being used in the yards throughout South Korea.

What a great shot! But it seems not to be in a dry dock or floating dock. Are they able to lift a complete stern section with the superstructure already installed? By the way: interesting to see three blade propellers. Seems to be more efficient. Kind regards from a german shipyard!
