MattyBoy and andrecas, thank you for the comments. Drone was my sons DJI Mavic. Great for locations like this however cannot use over most of Sydney harbour - application is limited, for the most I will stick to my hand held cameras.

Nice overhead. Commercially drones have proven to be a useful tool of the trade. Recreationally, with the many port restrictions in existence today, and with the new drone regulations in place in Canada, I'm not so sure I would want to make such an investment.
During my recent Vancouver visit I noticed signs posted at the Canada Place Cruise Terminal promenade, reading "NO DRONE ZONE". I would not want to even attempt launching a drone in Stanley Park, for fear of being arrested, fined and having drone confiscated!
Having said that, I do enjoy the (drone) uploads on this site. Lots of great photos out there..!
