Most of our main surfaces have two primers and one finish coat, depending on the exposure. Brgds, Michael

Oh ok, so a standard 3 layer paint system. That must add some extra weight but as you say, depending on the thickness.

I think it's usual to have one coat of primer + two main coats, I'd have to check a bit to give you the thicknesses...
