Of these six units, two were acquired by the fishing company Ancorar Ltda., With the name of "Maitén" and "Quillay".
Two others were completed as internal water patrols for the Navy, christianed as "Marinero Fuentealba" and "Cabo Odger", which turned out to be excellent ships in the missions they had to carry out in Puerto Williams and Puerto Montt, respectively.
Finally, the other two hulls were adapted for passenger ferries for the boys' school, located on Quiriquina Island, with the names of "Meteoro" and "Grumete Pérez", which are still active.
She was launched on June 15, 1974, and officially delivered to the Navy on January 12, 1974.
The origin of the name is due to:
Tribute to the cabin boy Moisés Daniel Pérez Salinas, who died in 1973. In a confusing accident that occurred inside the tweendeck.
