WYUNA
1953-1979
Pilot Tender for Port Phillip Sea Pilots, Melbourne, Victoria
1979-2004
Training ship for the Australian Maritime College, Beauty Point, Tasmania
2004-2013
Sold to Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Pty. Ltd. of Brisbane for possible use as an accommodation vessel in the Pilbara. Later sold in 2006 to businesswoman Gillian Swaby for possible conversion for use as a luxury yacht. Neither venture had been progressed as WYUNA had remained laid up at Kings Wharf, Launceston for nearly a decade.
2013-2015
Donated to the Western Port Oberon Association by Western Australian businesswoman Gillian Swaby in July 2013. With the help of volunteers, she was maintained, restored and repainted to her original service colour. Plans were underway to turn her into a floating educational museum in Victoria.
