Well, retro-fitting a ship in service with a scrubber isn,t that easy as the system has to be in a place where the exhaust passing and thats the funnel area. In the engine room there is no place for such a bulky system so only place left if somewhere beside and/or behind the funnel. What I bemoan a little that the painting could be a little more on the fun side,,like a painting of Charlie Brown or Mickey !!!! May be someone picks up on that :-)

Looks like we are back to the age of ships with 2 funnels, but in the old days they did a better job of it.When you thought ship design had reach the ultimate rational on finding a cheap efficient solution someone manages to go a step further down.
