built 1963 Estaleiros São Jacinto SA, Aveiro (Yd 58)
Ordered by Portuguese Government in 1961 for service in the Portuguese territories in India (Goa, Diu and Damão), hence the initial name. However, after India annexed those territories in December 1961, DIU was sent to Lourenço Marques (now Maputo). Out of use from 1980s.
