There are at least 3 tugboats named “MAGNI” in Icelandic maritime history:
• Veteran tugboat, MAGNI - IMO 5217127; built in 1955; first steel ship built in Iceland; preserved at the Reykjavik Maritime Museum, Iceland.
• MAGNI – IMO 9339727; built by Damen; launched in 2006; owed by Associated Icelandic Ports (Faxaflóahafnir) and now named HAKI.
• MAGNI – IMO 9855903, built by Damen’s Song Cam Shipyard in Hai Phong, Vietnam; launched in 2020 and also owned by Associated Icelandic Ports (Faxaflóahafnir).
