After Flensburger Schiffbaugesellschaft's insolvency, Brittany Ferries cancelled the contract for Honfleur in spring. The LNG-powered ferry is now reportedly expected to be transferred into ownership of Siem Shipping, the former owners of the yard, for completion elsewhere. Shipyard workers are said to regard that as "a difficult project". Even recycling is reported to be a possible option now.
