The 1980 Ulsan built EXPRESS HYPHESTOS, operated by Pacific & Atlantic Corporation (Alex Giannakopoulos) of Athens, is seen arriving at Immingham on 19th June 2000 to load a cargo of sugar for discharge in Iran.

EXPRESS HYPHESTOS was beached at Mumbai on 24th June 2002 for breaking.

Hi Malcolm, it was indeed that day we met. My last photo permit visit to Immingham was 12/04/2003 - although I did go across for the Centenary open day on 22/07/2012.

Indeed Patrick, it's hugely disappointing that so many vantage points have been blocked off to ship photographers since 2000. My last visit to Immingham was on 28th September 2000 for the arrival of SEBA M. and IVAN PEREVERZEV, with HAFEZ also on a clear berth. I think that you were one of the photographers I had met on that memorable day? Best regards. Malcolm
