Looks like a disco club to me! Is damage still an issue in such tanks with cargo sloshing. I read a report some time ago from your competitor (LR) where vessels were being advised to sail with full tanks only to avoid this situation.
Kind Regards Frank.
ps Lappino keep your interesting pictures coming!!!!

Thank you, Ingmar.

Guy Fawkes mask is an addition, courtesy of photo editing software, obviously. :)

The photo was taken in pre-Covid times, and now masks are SOP (but still maybe not Guy Fawkes type).

Cheers

Thank you all for your comments!

Swtk, the yellow stickers are panel production/installation tags, and actual comments are marked by the stickers of a different color - but there are but few of those at this stage.

Yes, Emmanuel, fancy stainless steel corrugated surfaces are a good reason to see beauty beyond the technology.

Enjoy this Sunday night, Sophie!

Cheers

Vlad

Not in a hundred years would I have guessed that this photo depicts part of the cargo tank of an LNG tanker.
It looks more like an auditorium of a 6 star hotel, no wonder Sophie was so poetic !
Keep safe my friends
best regards

Hi, Lappino,
There's something touching in almost every ship-building site, especially for me.
My favorite part of vessel is its curves and edges
and I love the way it's called as 'building' instead of 'construction.'
It's Sunday night - I have a perfect reason to be poetic :)
As Goethe's quotes -'Science arose from poetry... when times change the two can meet again on a higher level as friends'
Thank you and good night.
