A great shot of this vessel and a interesting background view , the only thing that is still around today is the then harbour control tower in the background which is in derelict condition these days.

The ship's cook at the time of the sinking was William "Bill" Corns, a Second World War M.N. veteran of the Battle of the Atlantic.
