The body of water in the middle is the straits between the mainland (north) and Mireuk Island (south); the former has all the port facilities, mostly for ferries (the terminal is on the left) and fishing boats, while the latter is shipbuilding-related, with small repair and building yards to the left, while the right side (rather empty looking) is what's left of "ShinA" shipyard, that went bankrupt in 2015.
