National Shipping Corporation of Karachi's 1958 Barclay Curle, Glasgow, built SWAT is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on the evening tide of 28th July 1971.

SWAT was laid up at Karachi on 27th September 1982 and then sent to Gadani Beach for breaking, being beached there on 6th February 1983.
