The 1959 Kobe built PROMETHEUS, owned by E.K.Venizelos of Athens, is seen passing Rozenburg outbound from Rotterdam on 30th July 1973 during a voyage from Hamburg to Djibouti.

PROMETHEUS was laid up at Astakos from 21st February 1982 and reactivated as AMESA ENA in January 1985 for a voyage under the British flag, registered at Gibraltar and owned by Amesa International Shipping & Finance Ltd.

She proceeded to Constantza to load cargo for India and subsequently sailed from Calcutta for Alang where she arrived on 4th June 1985 for breaking.
