Stena What? This has been a mystery ship to me for some time, until I mailed a scan to Micke Asklander, who knew all about her. Under Stena ownership she was converted for cruising, with the stern ramp permanently closed. I pictured her prior to being delivered to new owners after a long lay-up.
Passenger/car ferry built 1974 at Kynosoura Dockyard, Kynosoura, Greece for Hellenic Mediterranean Lines (HML), Piraeus, Greece, as CASTALIA. Later names: Scandinavian Saga, Stena Arcadia, Pride of San Diego, Tropic Star II, Emerald Princess, Sofia, Enchanted Sun, Talisman, Manistal, St Tropez, Fortune Star. 2006 renamed Casino Royale.
