The Bank Line vessel appears to have a mainly blue funnel with a black top. Presumably an ex Bank. ELLY ex Cedarbank 1976 would be one candidate, since her funnel colours were blue with a white motif and a black top.

Ian, don't make me feel sooo old...I have now dowloaded the shot and looked a bit closer to the stern, the second name has indeed three characters, so British Wye as per your first suggestion is the ship we were looking for.

Ah, Ian, there is the other one that came into the joint venture but was never renamed. I knew there were more than just the British Test, but couldn't find them.

It could be the BRITISH WYE IMO 7326128 as in the link here:

Guys, I have been trying to tell you that the name on the stern is consisting of two parts. Identifying a ship starts with studying the photograph. On this photo it is neither the Mokran or the Marun.

BRITISH NEATH is my doubt because i have not foto --- BANK an LIKES in Back.

Gianpoalo, what I am saying is that BP put some tankers, including this one under new colours but did not change the name. You will not find shots of the British Severn or the British Neath with these funnel colours. See here a shot of British Test

MARUN ex BRITISH SEVERN- MOKRAN ex BRITISH NEATH..

Marun and Mokran were under Iranian flag in a joint venture with BP. BP itself added some ships also with the same funnel markings, This could be British Test, the stern clearly shows a double name.

The product tk could be MARUN or MOKRAN ex BP tankers
