Egyptian pass/ferry EL ARISH is here seen at Bergen in december 1979 during her last stage of outfitting.She was delivered one month later.
She was built for MISR-Edco Shippin Co. as one of two sisters; the other one was EL TOR. The Kristian Jebsen group of Bergen was involved in this company, as can be seen from the well known Jebsen zig-zag line on the funnel.
