Thanks, Cisco. I'd never heard of the "Hansa type" before - interesting! From the drawing on the website whose link you sent it does look very similar to the one at right on my photo. Unfortunately I didn't note down any of the ships' names at the time so I cannot 100% confirm it.

In those days the only Hansa ships I saw there had distinctive Stulcken derricks and I don't think any of the ships in this photo have them

The first ship appears an HANSA TYPE!!!
