Description:
PANTELIS, built at Dundee in 1954 as TEMPLE HALL, was photographed passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 28th April 1972, during a voyage from Calcutta and Bombay to Liverpool.
Purchased by Greek owner Dem. P. Margaronis in 1969, PANTELIS was in 1977 sold within Greece and renamed TELAMON as which she was beached off Arrecife, Lanzarote on 31st October 1981 during a voyage from the Ivory Coast to Thessaloniki with a cargo of logs and broke in two
