Description:
Lamport & Holt Line's 1957 Bartram, Sunderland, built RONSARD is seen departing from Gladstone lock, Liverpool, exactly fifty years ago today, bound for Porto Alegre. I had earlier been sheltering from a heavy shower in a hut on the pier head, on only my second ever visit to Liverpool.
