Description:
Further to the last post. The port side of the superstructure was severely fire damaged but the starboard side was relatively untouched. The bars across the port lights seem to have been a security thing welded in place long before the ship was burnt. The fire was intense up the center front of the bridge and destroyed the railing ,on the deck above but the outer portions were untouched. Access doors to the superstructure on both port and starboard side were jammed but access was through a door at the rear of the superstructure. Access to the engine room was via here but it was dark and the engine room appeared to be flooded. Everything seemed to be still there as there was cutlery in the fire damaged galley. There was no access to the bridge area as it was to fire damaged. All in all it seemed like there had been a explosion and fire in the number two hold possibly during removal of the cargo as there was remains of fire fighting hoses on deck.
