Description:

KING THESEUS, built at Blyth in 1957 for Dalhousie Steam & Motorship Co Ltd of London and beneficially owned by the Petros Nomikos family, which had moved to the Greek flag in 1960, is seen passing Gravesend, outbound from Tilbury, at dawn on 16th July 1972, fifty years ago today, bound for Port Sudan.
