While working the photos I noticed on the forecastle crew members with tools removing spray ice off hawsers to pass the mooring lines.

Pas certain mais je crois que les dauphins sont les genres de 'bumpers' à la rafinnerie qui fait que le navires est attacher à des srtes d'îlots qui font lieu de quai mais je pourrais être dans le champ complètement :-)

Les dolphins sont des structures rondes en pales-planches d'acier qui servent de points d'amarage!
Ce n'est pas un quai proprement dit!
