Hi,

the submarine, which was in tow by EDI sank in the skagerrak on 2007/02/05. At the moment,EDI berthed in the port of Esbjerg.

Some additional info about EDI:

EDI is a former norwegian whaler. Two of her sisters, ALF and ARTEMIS, are still in service today. This two vessels were rebuilt into coasters in the 1950's. ARTEMIS was rebuilt into a Sailingvessel by her new dutch owners in the 1990's.

Krgds,
AJ

In the 80's she was owned by scheepvaartbedrijf Roel Feenstra in Den Helder, Holland.
I think she was called "Northsea Assistent" at that time.
Maybe this info helps a bit more.

Unfortunately I haven’t got any more info, and I’m looking for more data too.
This ship based on very old, rived hull.
