Harrison Line's 1954 Doxford, Sunderland, built BARRISTER is seen passing Tilbury Fort inbound for London exactly fifty years ago, on the evening of Monday 21st August 1972. Her arrival was delayed by the dock strike which had recently ended and a special effort was made to photograph her, driving up from Sutton after work.
