Description:

Panama Canal tugboat Rousseau assists M/V Strassburg into Miraflores Locks. Launched in 1967, 219 gt. IMO: 8847325. Rousseau was retired in 1987. The tugboat was named for Harry Harwood Rousseau, US Navy, who was in charge of the Department of Building Construction, Motive Power and Machinery, and Municipal Engineering during the Panama Canal's construction.

The "STRASSBURG" (IMO:5409122) was a bulk carrier built by Blohm & Voss in 1963. She was owned at time by Alfred C. Toepfer Scheepsvaartmij NV, Antwerp, Belgium.
