Description:

Japanese FERRY KAMPU is here photographed during passage of Strait of Kanmon, not far from Shimonoseki.
Information from various sources does not agree about this ship, as some list her as built 1973 as HAKATA, and some as built 1977 as HANKYU NO.17.
Anyway, she became FERRY KAMPU in 1984. In 1998 she became FERRY PUKWAN, in 2002 EUN HA, and in 2005 name was shortened to EUN. In 2006 she became Greek PANAGIA AGIASOU. She was laid-up in Piræus-area in 2008, and if we should trust Equasis, this lay-up would last for many years, as they still list her as laid up.

Hi Arne, the 1973 HAKATA version is correct, in 1976 she became HANKYU No.17 and then FERRY KAMPU,

Thanks Pieter, your information is what I finally ended up with also, it seems most reliable. What confused me a little, is that Lloyds Registers from the 90's don't mention HAKATA as one of her ex:names
