Description:

The FJORDSHELL was the sole F-Tanker dedicated to European trades and flew the Norwegian Flag and operated by Norske Shell. Contrary to the other ships of the F-Class, she was built at the Horten shipyard and fitted with just slow speed Sulzer 6RND76. In 2003 she was sold to Norwegian Champion Tankers and was subsequently hit by and engine room fire, which gutted her superstructure. She was scrapped in her country of build, Norway. She is shown here at the Shell 101 jetty, in the 4th Petroleum Dock, mid eighties.
