Description:
A representative of the F-Class Shell 32000 DWT product tankers built in the seventies by Haugesund MV. (Flammulina being yard #54) They were special because of the installation of two medium speed MAN R6V52/55 4-stroke engines of 6000 BHP each, geared to a single shaft.
She is shown here incoming Rotterdam mid eighties.
Later Gefion Baltic and finally Ocean Opal. Broken up during 2005 in Bangladesh.
