Description:

The Steuber Co. Inc. of New York owned tanker ALCHEMIST, a modified T2-SE-A1 type built by Kaiser Inc. at Portland, Oregon, in 1944, passing Hoek van Holland outbound from Rotterdam for the United States on 23th March 1975.

Built as PINNACLES for the U.S. Government she was, at Emden in 1961, lengthened, widened and converted into an LPG and chemical tanker

ALCHEMIST was scrapped at San Juan de Nieva in Spain, arriving there from Houston on 18 November 1982
