She was built 1974 at Sun Shipbuilding Co. at Chester, Pa. as EL TAINO.
What I have found out about her history is:

1976: Lenghtened with 28 meters.
1979: EASTERN LIGHT (USA)
1979: CAGUAS (USA)
1990: KAINALU (USA)
1999: EL MORRO (Puerto Rico)
15.05.2014: Arrived at Brownsville, Tx. for demolition
