The Chinese title on the bow means Haiyang 22, in letters Haiyang Ershier (海洋二十二号). That is the CIVILIAN name of this ship of the Shupang class, type 636A. The MILITARY name and pennant number is: PLANS Qian Sanqiang and 875. Depending on the task, the civilian name or the pennant number is displayed on the bow.

She appears to be the Haiyang (Google translate says "Haiyang èrshí'èr hào". Looks as though it is the same ship as here: https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/2512664

At very least a sistership, I know some Chinese survey/research vessels share the same names often, such as Xiang Yang Hong.

Thanks Savannah, I have a picture of a sister vessel as well, which was anchored close by, which I will post as well ( https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/3556117 ).
Only her fifth character (counted from left to right) is different on that one.
Maybe someone has any info on her class.
Cheers,
Roy
