The steamship Drotten, built by Oskarshamn Mekaniska Verkstad AB, was delivered in 1927 to Ångbåtsaktiebolaget Gotland.
The ship was 56x9.50 meters and had a triple steam engine of 1,000 hp. Speed 12 knots, and approved for 480 pass.
Until 1964 in traffic between Nynäshamn - Visby and Oskarshamn - Visby (Sweden). Then sold to the Viking line for traffic between Stockholm - Mariehamn (Åland).
